Roadside Assistance Coverage

Our roadside assistance program provides access to the following services.

Some services are provided on a fee for service arrangement (noted below), and as from the Cover Commencement Date there is a limit of two callouts within the first six months of cover, and five callouts within any twelve-month period.

What's Included?
  • Towing: If your vehicle is immobilised, it will be towed to the nearest authorised repairer. The covered range is ????.
    • If the motor vehicle is unable to be quickly mechanically repaired or safely driven due to mechanical failure, the Motor Vehicle, including the driver, will be transported to a place of safety, nominated service centre or mechanical repair facility. Excess kilometres are charged at the recommended industry rates.
  • Flat Tyre: Replacement of the flat tyre with the spare.
  • Flat Battery Assistance: Jump starting of the vehicle.
  • Emergency Fuel Supply: A supply of unleaded fuel can be brought to the driver (minimum of 5 litres, paid for by driver). For LPG/Diesel Motor Vehicles, they will be towed to a fuel supply as per the towing coverage range.
  • Emergency Charge: If your EV is depleted of power, it will be towed to the nearest charger as per the towing coverage range.
  • Lockout Assistance: Help accessing your vehicle if keys are locked inside.
  • Emergency Accommodation & Transport: Covered in specific cases (see details below).
What's Excluded?
  • Accidents or collision-related towing.
  • Vehicles over the specified weight or height limits.
  • Repeated callouts for the same issue (e.g, multiple jump starts for a failing battery).
  • Towing beyond the coverage limits (additional charges apply).

Note: If your vehicle requires towing beyond the included distance, you will need to cover the additional cost.

Emergency Accomodation & Travel

If your vehicle breaks down far from home and cannot be repaired quickly, you may be eligible for:

  • Accomodation: Up to (???) nights' stay (limit applies).
  • Car Hire: In the event of a major mechanical failure, whilst more than 100km from your registered residence, which sidelines your Motor Vehicle for longer than 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays), we will assist with reasonable necessary car rental costs (excluding fuel, kilometre charges, administration charges, credit card charges,
  • Transport: Reimbursement for alternative transport if car hire is not available.

How to Claim: Keep all receipts and submit a claim form within (???) days for reimbursement.

FAQ's

Does roadside assistance cover accidents?

No, towing after an accident is not included. Check your insurance policy for accident-related towing.

What if I don't have a spare tyre?

Assistance is still available, but towing may be required at your expense if no spare is present.

Response times really vary by the location, but for most situations you should be prepared to wait one hour.
